Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information MagicSleep (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit our website, buy the 21-Night Sleep Reset, join our launch list or community, and how we use it. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
1. Who we are
MagicSleep is a small independent business. You can reach us at hello@magicsleep.org.
2. What we collect
- Contact details — your name and email address when you buy, request the free Night 1 session, or join the launch list.
- Purchase details — order number, product and amount. Payments are handled by Gumroad; we never see or store your full card details.
- What you enter in the program — for example your sleep diary notes and routine check-ins.
- Community posts — anything you choose to share in the private community.
- Usage data — device type, browser, pages visited and roughly where you're visiting from (city or country). If you accept cookies, this is collected through Google Analytics (see section 6). Our hosting provider also keeps basic technical logs, such as IP address and browser, to run and protect the site.
3. How we use it
- To give you access to the program and the community.
- To send the emails you asked for — your purchase receipt, Night 1 and a few follow-up emails about the program, or the kit launch notice. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
- To answer your questions and process refunds.
- To understand what's working on the site and improve the program.
Your sleep diary is yours. We don't sell it, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't share it with anyone except the service providers who help us run the program.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with the providers we need to run MagicSleep: Gumroad (checkout and payments), Resend (emails), Netlify (website and app hosting), Google Analytics (site statistics, only if you accept cookies), and Facebook, run by Meta (the private community group). We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
5. The community
The community is a private Facebook group. What you post there can be seen by other members, and Meta's own privacy policy applies to your use of Facebook. Please don't share anything you'd prefer to keep private, including medical details.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies only for Google Analytics, and only if you say yes in the cookie notice. It tells us things like which pages are visited and how people found the site, not who you are. Google processes this information for us; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. Our checkout provider, Gumroad, may set its own cookies when you open checkout.
7. Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from any email with one click. You can also ask us to see, correct, export or delete your information by emailing hello@magicsleep.org. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights under state law; we'll honor them and won't treat you differently for using them.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires (for example, tax records). Then we delete or anonymize it.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to keep yours safe.
10. Age
MagicSleep is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
11. Changes and contact
